They've even alluded to the fact that, after all, it isn't even "Stock Car" racing anymore. Nothing remotely resembling production bodies or engines, no brand recognition, so no benefit to the manufacturer. No benefit= not interested.
Disagree. Why do Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota dump millions of dollars into sponsoring teams in all the NASCAR touring series, as well as many other forms of racing? Why do Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, etc... dump billions of dollars into F1? Talk about no resemblance to a "car"!
