So, all my parts came in from Dr. Diff today. Going to have a 3.91 center chuck set up. A buddy is going to buy the current 3.23 center. Should wake the Demon up even more. Bring on the gallons per mile or gallons per smiles.
I have a 3.91 sure-grip in my ‘69 GTS that it came with. It is nice, but if I was making the selection from scratch, I would have picked a 3.55 or 3.73 instead for better highway performance.
If not drag racing regularly, I think the 3.55 is the perfect gear for all around performance.
