Heavy straight line winds saturday morning dropped a tree on my truck. Got out lucky with so little damage. Was a dead-on shot on the door post. Otherwise may have crushed the roof.

I know this is a mopar site but I have give credit where credit is due and those Ford trucks are some great trucks. Durable and run forever.

looks to me like the roots didnt completely let go ,in the ford pic. We had 2/3 a pecan tree fall on a ford , totalled it !!

Funny how the truck pulled out from under the tree back into the garage yet the tree stayed exactly where it was. It wasn’t leaning on the truck all that hard, was it? If it was, the tree would have had to be cut off of it before the truck could be moved.
Not saying the truck isn’t tough, but to be real, it didn’t take that much load.

I never saw a windshield shatter like that one did. There was glass everywhere, and a lot was just like powder. Air box was so full of glass, the body shop refused to fix the truck without replacing it. Insurance company finally ended up totaling it.
