I'm thinking about getting some aftermarket fenders. Considering AMD metal or fiberglass from UP22/AAR/Andys/ETC.

Car is a 1970 Duster.

Questions...
1) Is anybody using the AMD metal fenders? Did they install properly? Any issues? Pros & cons?

2) Anybody running fiberglass fenders? How do you mount headlight assembly? Do they have the mounting holes pre-drilled to mount the fender to the car? Pros & cons?

Thanks FABO!!

Fiberglass head light buckets are available.

AMD isn’t perfect fitting for every car.

AMD may not be perfect, but the fit a lot better than some of the glass pieces being produced. If you use glass, be prepared for hours & hours of fitment & body work to get them even close. You don't want to know how many hours are in the glass doors, fenders, hood, deck lid & rear bumper on my bracket car.

Either way you're going to run into something. Metal bends and dents, FedEx and UPS are rarely careful enough. Fiberglass can break, FedEx and UPS are rarely careful enough, and as mentioned above is a headache to fit. Metal for a DD/street car, fiberglass for a weekend warrior/race car.

I doubt if you will save much weight with glass fenders, mopar fenders are not that heavy.
If you are replacing steel fenders with street-weight glass.
