Stop in for a cup of coffee

Same here. The butcher shop is full, no one is buying. The price of Spam is still the same. We fortunately bought a bundle of steaks, hamburger, and chicken a couple weeks ago. Should last us all summer.
nice. I've gotta do an inventory today but we should be okay for a while yet. plenty of hamburger. Local shops around here are packed until next spring now. We're working on setting up our butcher area again and doing our own, again. its been 7-8 years since we've done it. its a ***** to do but if it comes to it, it comes to it.

We have been deep diving in the freezer, made some burritos with 4 year old deer meat last night. Great time to clean out the bottom layers in our freezers. At 18 dollars a pound 3 and 4 year old deer and elk looks pretty tasty!
yep. most of our stuff is less than a year. ive got some smoked sausage that is about 2 years. wife didn't like it, turned out too spicy. yes, i know, que karl

OK I'm out, off to the other coffee place for even more lies and stories.

Spent a year working flight deck on a carrier. The ultimate drag strip!!!!!!

...one thing I learned in the Navy is that the North Atlantic in winter can make an aircraft carrier seem like a row boat!!

I went out to our local drag strip this weekend hoping to catch the owner onsite and not rely on urban myth for the scoop. Our track is in Minnesota so needless to say it is as ridiculous as California on most anything social. I found the owner who is a great guy and he explained they were still dead in the water with no happy ending in sight. He was bummed, as are all of us who like to go fast and not turn left.
Which strip is that?? I know BIR is a bit different being its a NHRA sanctioned track so they have to abide by NHRA policys.

I think he was referring to the "anything fun" lockdown in California.
Kinda like anywhere else in the US.
Good Morning to ya!!
Oh ok, yeah don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to defend California in any way shape or form. I’m a minority in this state. I seriously do not watch the newscasts and thought maybe something seriously went down here concerning this whole situation that I was unaware of. Trust me I wouldn’t put anything past ole Newsome!

Morning fellers!
Gorgeous morning here. Diesel f- twofiddy to service this morning then i tackle the 64 T-bird. there is a list, some electrical diagnosis, and shift linkage , swing-away seems to be off too. Good thing i pulled that column apart yesterday, got some practice with fiddly stuff.

I was with a photo recon squadron out of Miramar. Got to run alongside taxiing F-8’s changing film on the recon cameras right after they caught the cables. Wild times!
