Well I received a call yesterday from Frank ( Vacuum Orna-Metal ) and I was told that my instrument cluster face plate is done and ready to be picked up. I will post the before and after pictures when I get home.

Here you go, I am very happy with the way that they turned out.

I dropped my parts off in mid December and was told they would be done by the end of February, I received the call that they were done on the 12th of February. I picked them up on Friday the 14th so two months total and mine were in very sad shape.

$565.00 total, they fixed all the cracks, the broken piece by the glove box, polished all the lenses, and did the glove box area.

Damn that is a great price! A fine example of an American business not gouging it's customers which is so prominent today.

Also when you compare after market vs original, you are left with the chore of reattaching the lenses and risk messing it up.
Your lenses and center pieces all came back attached Bob?
I thought it was a great price, if you buy an after market one from Classic it's $633.99 and you do not get the lenses so add the cost of lenses.
Bob

Yes everything came back attached, I do not have to do anything other than re-install it back on my dash when the time comes. Here are a few pictures of the back sides, you can clearly see where the repairs were made on the back side, ( I had some major cracks ) but nothing shows on the front side

Have nothing but time right now so the heater A/C box rebuild is finished, came out nice with the DMT gasket rebuild kit. I installed the dash bezel and made sure all the wires were hooked up correctly. I spent the last few days working on the engine compartment getting it ready for paint. I hope to have it painted in a couple of weeks weather permitting, Michigan weather right now is hit and miss, we are supposed to get 3"to5" of snow Monday and Tuesday. My mission this year is to have it up and running and moving under it's own power.

1 step at a time, and before you know it shes rolling down the street!

Not in any hurry, if this **** ever ends I have my 66 to cruise in right now. My fingers sure do hurt though, I don't know how these body guys can do this all day long. I can sand for one day then take a break for a couple of days.

Bob, great work and great barn find, the barns around here I only find cow poop and tractors,
I have a 68 383 S and they have always been my favorite,
Keep the updates coming.

We finally had some good weather here in Michigan today almost 70 it's a heat wave, any how today is paint the engine compartment day. Pulled off the cover scuffed everything down again blew it off with the leaf blower and tack clothed it off, ready for paint. My buddy Gerry is the painter he got here at about 11:00, everything was ready just mix and shoot which he did. I will let it bake in the sun for the next few days then it's time to put the drive train in and the suspension back on.

I think it's GREAT when original parts get restored and used over again. Your bezel looks AMAZING and it will even look better when your dash is done and in.
