What's the price on them.heading to roselle to grab some parts on friday. Would like to run the 4.5 bolt pattern since that is what front will be. Would like 373 gears but if you have a good housing and center section I can swap gears. A 742 center would be preferred or a 489

PM me, as this site doesn't like pricing and phone numbers on the regular pages...

Hi,

I have 3 complete, A-body, original rears (not cut down) ready to be installed with different bolt patters and cases. Thanks.

Looking for an 8 3/4 with 373 gears or close and the 4.5x5 bolt pattern. Could switch the gears, and carrier if necessary. But if you have a sure grip close to that gearing that would be awesome. Needs to be one that would bolt into a duster so I can use my qa1 kit

Hi,

I have a big bolt pattern 11 X 2 1/2 brakes, 3:23 sure grip (clutch style), green bearings, all brake hardware is new, ukon axles, ready to bolt in. send me a text and Ill send you photos. Extremely nice rear. 2K obo and all NEW.

What's the specs on it, is it a limited slip, do you know what gearing. Any info would help including year mileage, is it a 742 center section?
It's a factory 68 A-body rear with standard small a-body brakes. The axles were welded up and re-drilled to the large bolt pattern. I put new shoes, hardware and drums on it about 20,000 miles ago but the shoes are worn quite a bit so I have a new set to go on it. I also installed new axle bearings and seals when I initially rebuilt it about 20,000 miles ago. Right now it has a 3.55 geared 3rd member in it that I plan on keeping but I have a 489 case with a brand new Dr. Diff clutch type sure grip and all new quality bearings (Timken or National) I'm about to assemble and have 3 gear ratios to choose from. I have a 2.76, a 3.23, and a 4.11 set. The gear ratio choice is up to the buyer. It'll have the small 7260 A-body size yoke. I got it out of the car but haven't taken pictures yet. I see others have messaged you also. If mine is of interest to you PM me and I'll give you my ph number. Thanks, Tracy
