My car has tapered tie rods and I achieved 0 toe.
I said it's just easier with hiem joints.
In post #22 he has hiem joints and can shim the inner and outer tie rods as needed to get 0 toe.
I'm not sure why you are fighting this, maybe because you can't do it ?
