One of our Mopars4us group (Mopar David as he is called) has been a collector of Mopar related goodies for decades.
He must have 5,000 Hot Wheels cars, trucks, vans and paraphernalia.
I am converting a video of some of it right now, but in the meantime I thought I would post a couple of pics of some of his goodies.
These are just a very small sample of what is in his collection, so I hope the video turns out so you can see it. (no video, it failed conversion sorry)
Note the autographed Snake and Mongoose racing set.
He said they were tickled to see this set and autograph the box for him, and recounted how they were in their 20's when that race set of them was made.

The yellow car on the table by itself was what the dealers sometimes had on their desks in the sales offices.
They were not for sale, but used as a sales gimmick.

That blue Richard Petty semi is worth some jack.

My mopar hotwheels collection keeps me company at work and on my computer desk at home. They are all out so I can play with them with my son. How they keep ending up in his hotwheels collection is because he knows the coolness of great cars. I keep telling him that when he is old enough to drive he can have the Charger but I get the Barracuda. He doesn't like that at all, and wants to buy an old mopar like the hotwheels.

Ill get the hotwheels pics up later when I get home.

Cool collection, I wish I had kept all the cars from when I was a kid.

Dave is an awesome guy! One of my good Mopar buddies. About 6 years ago, I had a house fire and lost all my collection of cool toys. Dave found out about it and drove down to Phoenix where I was staying. He felt so bad for me, he gave me a box of Mopar toys and pictures. I was so touched by the gesture. He’s high up on my list of good people.

P.S. he does have an impressive amount of cool collectibles!
