I've searched on here to see if there is any pics of cars with espo 2" springs. I've found multiple 1" spring pics but I cant find what im looking for. Wondering if anyone has ran the 2" 6 leaf springs? Im about to put them on my 71 swinger and just curious on feedback on what they look like and how they ride? Its almost an every day driver car 30 miles each way to work so I dont want too stiff of a ride but a little bit firm is just fine. Heres how it sits now. Doesnt look too low in this pic but it could definitely use more height, for how I want the car to look I like the raked look.

looks like your already close to the top off your tire with the wheel opening and I defiantly agree with abodyjoe

So, my thoughts on height... I can always either add more junk in my trunk or put lowering blocks in. Wont be as easy to go higher if im not satisfied with it being too low. This leaf pack has 2 extra leaves added, but its all old worn out stock leaves. Just was curipus if anyone has ran the 2" so I can see how much of a monster truck it will be haha

Get a pair of 15x7 rallys with a 4.25 backspace and some 255-60's. You might not need more lift. Same tire and springs. Fronts are 14"

I believe 2 inches would be to much
I just yesterday installed a set of 6 leaf ESPO springs with an additional 1 inch arch.
Made a big difference added 7/8 inch of ride height, ride is very nice
275/60r-15 tire

Or, after you get the rake and ride height you want, and don't like the 1980's show all the tire look, drop your fender lips!

Here are my Espo +2" springs. This picture is when they were just installed.

This was last year. Probably settled an inch. No complaints with the ride at all. 295/50R15 on back.

How’s it ride?

It rides just fine for my liking. Not too soft, not too stiff; running Monroe shocks and just a front sway bar, but I wouldn't put any more money into trying to improve the ride or handling. Would buy these springs again. I like the rake.

I hit the like button . I have 295 60 d15`s on my fastback , the caltrac monoleafs have settled to where the top of the tire is about 1'' up inside the fender well , looks great and darn near sits level. Just had to build/add a .044 shim for one side to stop it from barely rubbing on the inside fender well on pass. side.

To fit 295s did you do the leaf spring relocation kit or just offset shackles?

Neither; the 295's don't actually fit inside the quarters. I mentioned the tire size so the overall tire height could be determined.

This picture shows the amount of poke:

Like the way it sits now in the rear....drop the front an inch or two if you want the rake look.

Agreed! Just an opinion but it’s plenty high in the rear as it is. Any higher will expose the whole tire. The rear quarters are almost like fender skirts on these cars so the tire needs to tuck a little. This is not for everyone but these old leaf springs have 48yrs and 245k mi on them. We just dropped the front to match and really liked it.

Not great pics but you get the idea...

Maybe it’s my 215/65’s up front? 15x6 front 15x8 rear. I’ve got 60 series in the rear and 65s up front. Too bad cooper didn’t make a 215/60.

holy 4X4...lol

haha right!? my driveway plays tricks on the eye, it’s kinda “warped”. It doesn’t sit that funky on flat ground. But the tall skinny tire up front I think throws the look of the car off?
