Dash question 67 Dart

Hey everyone. I just removed my dash in my 67 Dart to have it painted. I noticed the dash appears to be dented or pushed in just below the key bezel. Just wondering if it's suppose to look this way or is it really pushed in? The bezel seems to fit fine. I would like to have it fixed before it's painted if it's not supposed to be pushed in. Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks a bunch.

It looks bent to me. I think the bezel fitment would show the dash is bent but helps hide it too.
If it was a drivers knee that did that.... OUCH!
 
I've owned the car for 15 years. Never noticed until I took the dash out and everything off of it. It had been in an accident at some point in it's life. I had the car straightened on a machine years ago after I purchased it.

Yes it looks dented to me....here is a pic of my dash from a 67 dart.Sorry for the dirty pic I have it out of the car right now.
 
Thanks hemidart67. That was my conclusion too. someone got a nice knock to the kneecap.
