Stop in for a cup of coffee

60's safety PITA Ralph Nader didn't like the original 1967 wheel design. He was worried that in an impact wreck the horn tabs shown on the spokes in the wheel below would impale the driver. Chrysler got wind of Nader's concern, panicked, and quickly designed a wheel without tabs like I have. This new wheel was named the "recall wheel". There was never actually a recall, just a production change. Nader had power, never filed a complaint or law suit and got his way. This was in 1967 only and a $25 option. Most of these recall wheels were put on big block cars, both Dodge and Plymouth.
