I merged both your threads. It should streamline things.
The early A bodies are set up for single exhaust. The transmission crossmember is only notched out on the drivers side. You can have a exhaust shop bend a pipe to go under the passenger side or you can modify the crossmember to accept a pipe. There are threads here that talk about that. The stock single v8 exhaust is either the 2 barrel version or the Charger/Commando 4 barrel set up. I bought the Accurate LTD system. Not cheap but I wanted correctness for my 66.
