Huh. I guess what part of my confusion was is that I think I have the wrong idler. Notice how the larger side of your idler mounts to the frame. The bend on my idler is exactly the opposite, with the smaller side mounting to the frame. And the bend isn't steep enough so the idler-to-centerlink connection will bump into the torsion bar.
