What's the consensus on burnouts?

You got to post a link here when you're done! If it was me i'd just do it and be gone before anybody complained.

screaming at a computer post ? unreal.
I still have trouble believing people think I`m screaming because of caps , this p.c. does it sometimes on its own , posts stuff while I`m still typing , on top of that , i cant type worth a crap , have to proof read everything .
Many times when I hit the caps button it posts instantly too , i should quit using caps altogether , but then someone would try to be a grammer cop -----

I'm just giving you grief Bob.
I know you have the caps issue, and it doesn't matter to me.

I love UTG (aka whitepunkonitro) but totally disagree with his neutral drop method. I don't neutral drop any automatic unless I'm taking my car straight to the junkyard. IF a car can't burn the tires by standing on the brake and mashing it, then carry a water bottle and dose the tires before trying.

I think for one, it matters if a person can fix their own car or not, but to me a neutral drop with an automatic isn't really any different than side stepping a clutch.
Neither is a real good idea.:D

Yea, kinda leaning that way myself.
I figured if I asked the LEO and they said no way, I'd do it anyway.

I like squealing "burnouts." Just mash it, bonus points for the 1960's sound of bias ply tires barking on well worn asphalt. Just my 0.02.

Like the first 7 seconds of the chase.

I think burnouts for distance are the coolest but obviously you'd need a long straight stretch of road with no other people or cars around. Personally I'm not a huge burnout guy though, I don't get much of a thrill out of doing them in my own car unless I'm about to race. All I think of is wearing down my tires and those damn things are expensive lol.

I don't happen to like burnouts myself, but it is purely a matter of personal taste; this is a free country and everyone is entitled to do what they want, as long as it is legal I suppose. I'm not going to argue with anyone about burnouts, but burnout videos don't appeal to me. I like Dajiban racing videos like this:

Though you would think otherwise, they rarely have the best pot.

I got caught doing a huge full lock burnout around a triplex of silos on gravel, Ima guessing 150 to 200 footer. My car does this really well, all the time. Any way we were having so much fun, nobody saw the cops pull up. After about the third lap, we came around the backside and there they were; two good old boys. I stopped, shut the engine off, put my hands at the top of the steering wheel, hung my head down, and tried to stop giggling; I mean we were having a blast.
So the big one, comes over to my window, and you'll never guess what he said so I'll tell ya; "you know you can't be doing that here... short pause, but you do it pretty good" .
To which I replied; " does that mean you'll let me off with a warning?"
Smile now gone, he is all business; " Driver's license and registration please,Sir."
$360 buckeroos I spent in less than 15 minutes right there.
Then he says " next time take it out of town........." lol.
The lil guy, never took his shades off, and didn't much look at me, I think he mightta been working hard to suppress a smile. or a giggle.
Well, Ima thinkin', where am I gonna find a 300ft paddock outside of town? The hunt was on! I found lots of places ..... If you weren't so far away, we could have a hoot together, lol.
