Stop in for a cup of coffee

At least!
I haven't decided if it will be better to paint the black first, rather than try to mask the white.
Or paint all the white. Then apply the flat black with a paint brush or sponge.

The paint that they told me to use is SEM's color coat. I'll prob have to experiment. It will be a steep learning curve for me!!

I would spray the white first as it's difficult to paint white over black with as easily as the black bleeds through lighter colors...

@Eddie348 found a place that has good color matches for the stock Mopar colors... His Dart looks like the same color as your car...

Always hard to tell in digital photos but that looks like "daffodil yellow"
Mine is code S "Soft Yellow" aka "Ivory" but maybe just that year, it has a bit more yellow than a lot of the books seem to formulate. When Joe resprayed my car, he took the formula and then matched it to the surviving hidden paint (windshield flange) by casting it more green.

From those pics, that looks more yellow than Matt’s car

The place that he got the spray paint from used the color code to match the paint color... Just tell them your factory paint code and they will make you as many cans of paint as you need...

That only works if it is a recent paint job and they actually got it right. I watched a guy buying paint at my local paint store. He brought a piece of the car and they fanned out a deck of maybe a dozen shades of that color to match the fade.

My confidence in this particular store's ability to adjust by eye is on the low side. The times i've used them it seems they use the machine and the books and don't want want to match by eye.

Good Morning All! Actually am going in for work this morning, working 8's this and next week to cover co-worker. Later today will be working on the lift again and mowing : (

I replaced a clutch in a Toyota Landcruiser, Out in the Bush in T'Chad Africa , one time. My set up was just a little safer than the one in the pic. Using Hand Tools......Crazy...for sure....Might have pics. I'll go look....

Afternoon fellas. Low 80's outside and quite humid. I have the cover off the A/C unit outside for a condenser cleaning and a splash of R22. Hopefully it will take care of my evaporator freeze up. Damn, it's a old system. It was old when we move in 25 years ago. The HVAC contractors want to replace it all and it is a high bred system adapted to our 100 year old air handler system. It was well matched and always worked well but is just getting tired.

Ah yes, seems to be working better. I couldn't get my duct temp below 77°. It's down to 70° and the humidity went from low 70's to about 57. It's getting quite comfortable in here now.

Dang it Mitch you know full well we were all waiting for this years pix of the hot lawn lady. We like ya and all but you shirtless is just not quite what we had in mind! Hah!

Sunny, 82* and 55% humidity here with almost no breeze. Was a bit steamy this afternoon after the 2” of rain we got over the weekend.

Was foggy this morning with the annual deep marine layer we get in the mornings this time of year before it burned off around 11 am. Supposed to be worse tomorrow with a dense fog advisory issued for the morning along with heavy drizzle. 3 days of warm rain predicted starting Thursday.

Oh well. It should make the lawn and all the new plants happy.
