Fix the cause of the problem. I had those on my 65 years ago and a coil grabbed the lip of my gas tank and ripped it out from under my Dart when going over some rough railroad tracks at highway speeds. Good thing it slid down the highway and into the ditch and I kept driving up the hill. It could have been a bad deal.
