Any one remember going here back in the day ? This was my local track,out in the country. Some big name guys used to run here.
Bill Kulhmann, Tim McAimis, Jerry Bickel, Jerry Dawson





I believe this is were the Nostalgia drags started before moving it to Gateway and then to ??

Once a year when the nostalgia drags came to town they would shut down main street, Fri or Sat night and most the racers would have their cars in town for the cruise.
 
Around this area all racers and enthusiasts miss MAR and are still talking about loosing it after all these years.

Remember some old speedshops from that era. Matt Johnson, Kirns,
Jack & Larry Lamperts & SunSet Auto
in St. Charles. . Had alot of fun street racing back then.
