I was also going o say at least $10,000. The old days of a really nice paint job for a few thousand dollars is over. The cost of the shop, paint booth, utilities, insurance, body work tools, tools, paint guns (most pros use good guns), etc., etc. is so high that they can't do the work cheaply any more. Also, do you know how expensive paint is? Specially PPG paint! You are looking at at least $2,500 jus in materials for a complete paint job. I painted my car almost 6 years ago, and I had almost $2,000 in materials.
