It’s easy to mount. You use the idler plate as a template and drill and tap a hole. I won’t use a chain any more.

BTW...the SBC I worked on weekend before last had less than 100 miles on it and the chain had about 3 degrees wear in it. Had we not been in a hurry, he would have bought the SBC Milodon GD but we needed to button it up and make it run. When he does the next engine, it will get an aftermarket block and a GD for sure. And it’s almost 700 bucks for a SBC GD. He was willing to spend the $$$ but we just didn’t have the time this go around.
