Anyone tried these retractable belts in an Abody looks like may have to make another attachment point at the bottom
Wesco Performance Seat Belts and Racing Gear

Yes, those are the ones I used in the cuda. I ended up using an angle bracket on the floor that bolted through the double thickness seam in the floor. I used a piece I cut off the bracket as further reinforcement under the floor.

If you get these, buy the ones that have an upper sash with D ring and are for a hardtop. They will be less likely to cut into your neck. Heres a pic of the Wesco belts with upper sash mocked in my barracuda coupe. I used the lower outboard bolt hole for the retractor, and made my own angle brackets forward of that as an anchor point for the other lower belt loop. As you can see they attach where the front seat rear support brace is. The second set of those anchors is for my sons 69 coupe.

Look at the XV Racing belts. They don’t need the extra anchor point. Install in stock locations.

What's the price on those? The Wesco belts I have ran me $220 shipped for the 2 fronts and 2 rear matching lap belts. For me making the extra bracket was no big deal.

I think I paid about $170 two years ago for the XV Racing ones. Front only.

Just checked and their website shows sold out.

I originally installed mine using the existing lower anchor point, but I didn't like the angle on the retractor or the belt. I like how the final installation pulls straight up and lines up with the edge of the window.

Thanks for the detailed pics

I found a picture of the angle bracket only installed in the floor. It started life as a piece of gate hardware from the hardware store.
