a quick media blast of the K up that came with the 408 makes it easier to clean up the factory welds.

Been searching for Sandin A/C compressor and the small compact P/S pump brackets....no luck everything I see for the A/C compressor mounts up high like the factory had it. I thinking it belongs low on the drivers side with the compact P/S pump / reservoir right above. I done a few big blocks this way....looks like I gotta get out the cocktail napkins.

Got a picture of what you need?

unfortunately, no I do not. ...maybe it is because no one has made them yet?

Hey Denny, I sure would be interested in brackets, Sanden A/C compressor and small compact P/S pump/reservoir as a package once you get it all scienced out.
I've never liked the top-mounted AC and want to keep my 360 install clean.
Let us know!
THANKS!!!

Food for thought.
I have seen them mount a small A/C compressor down low on the passenger side on BBM applications. When that is fit in place you no longer can run a mechanical fuel pump.
This happens to be a GM app, but the bracket theory is the same.

Denny, have you looked in Vintage Air, or Classic Auto Air for the brackets you might need?

yes....but I have not seen any in the configuration I am looking for. I likely will come up with my own design and make them available for others thru HDK.

here is what I'm thinking. brackets are for a B/RB install, need to re-map the block mounting holes and line up the belts, but it is a start.

on the right is out of Butch's B/MP Flash....one on the left is for this ride. It will get a line-lock switch also.

The proto-type small block version of the new HDK P/S pump and compressor brackets are now at the laser cutter. I likely will have them to test fit by the end of next week. Once the pro-types are approved for production, I will post pictures of the final version and get pricing together in case anyone else has any interest.

that thing is a bodyman's dream . what a cherry duster . i'm so uses to replacing most of the lower body n floors . nice piece !!!

that k member looks cool , i went all the way around this one for this rb more door dart build . and subframed it with corner boxing as well to stuffen up this 70 4dr dart , granny's rides again . in her super sleeper dodge . oh ya granny wants her full rim covers on the ride as well . so i built custom 15x8 steelies for the rear , wheel covers in place . as i said ''sleeper'' .

VERY sneaky! I like it!

Too bad times have changed so much...as well as we have gotten older. I see many things that we
could have put to good use. Drag radials, Cal Tracs, 512's that can be made to look like a stock
383, Trick Flow cylinder heads etc. etc......

Looking good Denny..I'm sure Hemimark will be first in line for the Low mount A/C brackets.

be a good fit for him.

P/S bracket too which is independent. Bolts directly to the head. 2" slots make it work as the belt tightener for both. Hopefully it adds beauty and function.

Looking good! Anxious to see final fit pics and pricing.
Will they be able to be mounted to the block and installed as engine/trans/k-member from the bottom like ma-mopar did? Or are they too wide and should be installed to engine after the engine/trans/k-member are in place?
How are you planning to cleanly run a/c lines from driver-side compressor to passenger-side a/c unit in the cabin?

I see no issue, especially the P/S pump, but for ease, if compressor needs installed after driveline / k is in place, no big deal, just four easy to reach 3/8" bolts attach the compressor. After that, 2 lines and the A/C power wire.

Even with brackets, small package compared to Hemi installs

line / hose routing discussed / pictured in thread link below......post 29 sums up the line routing.

had a little wait time in line for the paint prep and paint booth.....so I cleaned the underside. Gets sealer tomorrow, then its prep for paint time. My job (the dirty stuff) is pretty much done.
