Hey all, question for the group at large.

I want to convert my 1974 Dart from column to Floor shift, and I'm wondering what parts/tools I'll need to do it. I'm not very experienced with anything transmission related, so any helpful advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Going by memory, tools: screwdrivers, sockets and ratchet, drill, drill bits, knife, and pliers. You may want a hammer and a punch to remove the old shifter handle from the column. Parts: shifter, cable clamps, and sheetmetal screws.

I'd do a search online for the installation manual for whichever shifter you're interested in putting in and it should recommend what tools are necessary.

There's no center console if that's what you're referring to. And I'm trying to install a B&M Megashifter
I was asking if you were putting in a factory console or an aftermarket one. B&M is aftermarket, their instructions should tell you exactly what you need and how to do it. B&M might even have some instructional videos on their website for the installation and adjustment process. Google it up. Good luck!

I have a couple of floor shift columns if your going to change your column.
My name is Ron I have a 72 Dart that's a column shift I'd be interested in a manual column if you have an extra one
