to all who have purchased items from me. i have included a tracking number after i have mailed/shipped items to most of you. i just have checked on a few that have made inquires to me about why their parts are not there yet. one was sent out on 5/13/20 and has yet to show up. if you have purchased from me and have not gotten your stuff yet, please let me know. as a side note, i mailed a payment on 5/15/20 and had it priority mailed and was to be there on 5/18/20. it is still in an orlando, fla sub post office as we speak. i had started and inquiry when it was not there on 5/20/20 and was told by local postmaster that all over the country people are not showing up to work because they are scared of the virus. i ahve a friend that has had his stuff sit in st louis,mo po for 7 days before it even left to come here. again please let me know if you have not gotten you parts yet and i will follow up on there whereabouts. thanks rick w.

USPS is AFU at the moment, lol. I had a 2 day priority envelope shipped to me from Florida, it took 2 weeks to get here.

USPS is AFU at the moment,....

That's a fact!
Now working on the third week waiting for a small item from 320 miles away. Normally a three day USPS delivery.
Track history say's "It is currently in transit to the next facility." for the last week now. :wtf:

At my local PO they are down employees by 40%. I work in a mailroom & are finding tracked packages are not being scanned before moving on. My tax payment (sent certified with a return receipt) check was cashed by the state but still showed in transit.

For me up in Canada the USPS is never a good idea...takes Way To Long!!...Fed Ex or UPS..it's worth the few extra bucks for me.

Shipping has become a foul subject for me for a while.. But Covid is only their current excuse.
In particular, it's the 'free shipping' sellers use on Ebag. Just recently, I ordered a new Pin Vise on Ebag from a seller in Los Angeles. This is roughly 320 miles. I get a notification the next day: 'Pre-shipment'. Two days later, 'shipment received'. Ok, I get it, not everyone (almost no one) makes a daily run to the post office.
Another 2 days go by, 'Arrived at USPS Regional Origin Facility CITY OF INDUSTRY CA DISTRIBUTION CENTER'
Next day, 'Arrived at USPS Regional Facility INDIANAPOLIS IN DISTRIBUTION CENTER ANNEX'.

That was an expensive goof... all that plane fuel on a free label, AND 5 states from California!

So, the next day, they stick it on a truck! Departed USPS Regional Facility INDIANAPOLIS IN DISTRIBUTION CENTER ANNEX.
3 days later, rolls into Sacramento and sat another day before getting to my local post and I get my long awaited, 'out for delivery' notice. At this point, I've moved on to other projects.
I hear the mail truck go by at 1:30 pm.. "oh, it's finally hear", so I go out to the mail box. Nothing but junk mail. ?!?!
3 hours later, I'm in the house getting some ice water, and I see the mail truck fly by. Sure enough, there it is. 13 frickin' days later! I think the pony express could have made that loop 3 times, back in the day... :BangHead:

I sent a couple relay kits out Friday last week and at least one was delivered I think on Sunday, from CA to GA via priority mail.

USPS can be a mess, just haven't had too many issues with them over the years.

I mailed a letter to NJ. 17 days to get there. Then some linkage to Pennsylvania. Took over a month to get there. Sat in NYC for 21 days. Kim

OH, NOOO Covid-19 is spreading into envelopes and boxes !!!

I still have friends at the P/O.
One of them posted this picture on F/B last night. This was her truck when she left yesterday. She stated that there was just as much left behind because she didn't have room.
Her sub had to come in and take 1/2 of this off of her so that she wouldn't be out until 10:00pm. As it was, she was out until 6:30, and didn't leave until 7:30. 11 1/2 hour day on a route that only pays 8 hours flat rate.
