If you find the option brochure it will boggle your mind. My first new 1969 A56 optioned Cuda 340 had a 4 speed, bench seat without center armrest, headrest, standard interior, non folding rear seat back, rear defogger, power steering, 3:23 SG.
Mine has torque boxes on all four corners.Interesting...
My A56 retirement project.
FB.
4 speed.
Manual drums.
Manual 16:1 steering.
A62 Rallye dash w/150 speedo as shown in post 17.
Wood wheel.
Clock!
Bench seat w/fold down center armrest and head rests (built 6-13).
Optional fold down rear seat.
Dog dish and redlines.
3.91 SG.
Front and rear torque boxes.
15/16" sway bar measured with calipers.
Numbers match, have build sheet and body tag.
I've crawled under 340 abodies for decades at the Nats and now Carlisle. Not many with 4 torque boxes. I think what triggered the HD stuff was the 3.91/4 speed combination.
....it's the factory original 4 speed Hurst shifter arm that came in all '69 Barracuda'sA56
Can you please tell me what type, kind, number etc... Shifter that is in the 4 speed pic with no carpet blue Cuda.
I'm asking as I'd like to get that type (height, style). Shifter.
Thanks.
I don't have a p/n but ebay may have what you're lookin for. Used $190. + $20, new $340. in the US anyway. Or check with Hurst. Is there a part number for it, cause I find a few shifters but in the pictures you.cant really tell how tall/long the shaft is.
Thanks for the help.
