Everything I posted would be to go (3-4") 1/2" fuel hose from sender to 1/2" steel or alloy fuel line up to frame rail next to Fuel pump then 1/2" fuel hose to Barb fitting in fuel pump. Then Flared fitting from Fuel pump to Steel line up to fuel filter before carb. On the ends of the steel line from sender up to fuel pump I make a -small -double flare on each end to prevent hose from coming off plus 2 clamps each end.
Braiding an AN fittings is a different animal. I'm a low budget guy so I did both my Darts this way but used Aluminium tubing which some guys don't like with todays fuel.
