SB 727 Question

Last year I had a shop build me a 727. After having them address issues with the car losing gears on the first drive they said it was losing pressure due to a cracked case. They said they replaced the case and dyno ran it. I’ve put apprx 50 miles on since with no issues due to it getting pulled apart for paint/body work. I noticed the pan leaking so I went under to check torque on the bolts and noticed this glob of silicone, looking a diagrams it is near the rear servo port. Any ideas why it would be present or if it was used for a band aid on a crack, scared to peel it off. Was a bad experience with the shop.
