Need some input ....I'm thinking of swapping out my 340 W2 motor for a Gen3 engine...not sure if I should go Hellcat or build a turbo or procharged Gen3 hemi..looking to make anywhere from 800hp to 1000hp...Or just stick what I know more of...build a X or R3 W8 motor...and squeeze as much HP out of it...

If you use a turbo any R block will take 1k pretty easy if you don’t set the tune on max kill. The Ritter block is probably the better investment.

I’d shy away from boost and iron heads even at moderate boost levels. Iron is very sensitive to temperature rise, as in going from a no boost/low boost load and then running the boost up. Temperature change like that and cast iron hate each other.

A Ritter block and W8 heads from Brett Miller would be a kick *** deal. Much better than a boring LS deal (which a quick study would tell you isn’t all that indestructible...neither is the G3 hemi) or a G3 HEMI.
