As far as prices, I see a bit of variety between $600.- to $1200.- for a pair. Machine shops here on the east coast have higher labor rates, so spending another $400 to $1000.- is possible. Hope that helps.

Not when I purchased them. I was off my game. However when I got it home I did realize it and called him. He said X heads that were smoothed for a show car. Guy seemed honest and I said OK. However when I popped a head off because of other issues and I will now own those I saw J and here we are. He bent me over and gave it to me dry. Just working on getting restitution.
