Well tomorrow it goes back to a painter ( for the last time, I hope). Put a makeshift fuel jug under the hood, since the fuel tank was out to replace trunk floor. Had to drill new holes for the seat, since that floor is also new. Drove it around my neighborhood a little. First time its been under its own power in two years.....

I just got back from a nice little cruise in the GTS. She really does run sweet since I got everything dialed I last Fall before going up to see Keith. It’s nice to just hop in and go without thinking about whether everything is working right now.

I should go put the coil in and see if that alone was the problem.
It's about the only vehicle parked along the section of the park. Think I should move it.

A quick check of the primary windings showed 6 ohms.
Took one look at the contacts and figured 4 of those ohms were probably oxidation.
A little fine steel wool and

yup.

So how did I know to check the coil first instead of spark.
I had left the key in run. Seemed like the most likely item to burn out. And, because the resistor is not a ballast, but a wire in the harness, its PIA the check.
I just had the same issue. Mine runs like a dream now

For those that were interested last night about following events in Phila.
This security guy is pretty effective - looks like a real pro.
Security Guard Takes Down Looters in Port Richmond
I'd add NBC's live communication with their chopper gives their stories a different perspective than the KYW & CBS teams which are more on the ground.

Job well done, however I wonder if that was a person that wasnt black if it would of went down the same way or would of it been racist that he pulled a gun and was hitting them with a stick.. Regardless we need more of that.
