Cloth Towel Dispenser

Wow that brings back memories. I made a lot of my fortune in the commercial laundry business a hundred years ago.

He is pretty spot on with his descriptions and comparisons of cloth to paper. Surprised to hear him say that these things are extinct, as far as I know companies like Cintas rent roll towels (pickup soiled ones and drop off clean ones) on a weekly or biweekly basis. They would be tough to launder yourself, if they aren't layed out and strapped together properly for washing/ drying they will wind up in a giant knot. If they aren't ironed well they might not travel through the roller mechanism properly.

FYI - That white guard hanging at the back with the slot in it came about quite a few years ago when kids got in the habit of sticking their heads through the loop of towel and spinning around until the towel tightened up around their neck and they passed out. Good times.
