Probably overthinking as usual. I tried multiple searches but came up empty. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with which way works better or if it matters. Edelbrock 1406 on a Performer manifold on a 318. The Eddy has a port in the center of the rear of carb that instructions say is for power brakes. Currently have it plumbed to the manifold port over the number 8 runner but have not driven yet as I'm waiting for a filter element for the air cleaner to show up.

Well, right or wrong, the power brakes go to the intake and the pcv to the carb base. Remember, the pcv is a near constant vacuum leak.

The 1406 has pvc port on the center front of the baseplate and port labeled for power brakes on the rear.
