How does this cam seem for a mild 360 build.
Just got it. Its an Elgin cam kit, came with lifters, and springs. $212.00 shipped on Amazon.
It will be used with .030 over, Wiseco flat tops, with one row of valve reliefs.
Just doing a mild buid rebuild of a 1975 360, for my 66 B-Cuda, to wake it up a little. It currenly is running on a 1972 slant 6.

same as the edelbrock cam
it has more duration than the 340 cam and shorter ramps
I would not use it in a low compression motor without low gears and converter
note the 77 ABDC intake close
a low compression 360 about 60 max or low 50's @.006
needs headers
glad you are used to a slant off the line
will work fine once it's reved up
you did note that this is a 290 ish duration class cam
you can get 460 lift with a 265 SAE duration cam
that said it is so mild that it should run forever, and grind quality will be good

Do you know what your static compression is set at?
