Seal confusion.

I have a set of mustang rotors that I machined to fit my KH 10" setup on my 68 dart GT vert. I have come across conflicting information regarding the seal. The original seal is 1.730 ID and 2.340 OD and this is what I machined the mustang rotor OD to. I've read here that someone used a seal that's in the vicinity of 2.5" OD and this confuses me. Anyone know why there are 2 different seals being talked about?

Go to brake section in the thread I think it’s there , you will have to hunt a little for it though.
 
Are you talking about the "using mustang rotors" thread?
 
My Canadian friend and I were supposed to go out clubbing last weekend, but we couldn't find any seals...
