Unless you know how to properly set up a gear set (pinion depth and drag, backlash, gear mesh pattern and the like) there is no "swapping out gears". in any rear end. You will need some special tools, equipment,parts, and know how.

Totally agree. This whole proposition sounds like a hassle for a /6 car. My2cents.
