Here is the Air Cleaner. The indent on front looks to be right near the compressor.

Thanks for the pics Stan. I am wondering if there is any difference in the height of the bases between the two air cleaners? Here are two pictures of when I measured my old one versus a new drop base, showing what I mean.

Started to prep the air cleaner. I got the snorkels trued up where they had been cut off, and got the paint stripped off.

I have to busy myself with small projects for now. the car is still not home yet. There was a problem with the seller's Title he is still trying to resolve with the DMV and now the border is closed, so who knows when it will land in my garage.

Dang, I thought you had a done deal & the car was in your possession. Sorry to hear about the title snafu.

Yes, it was a huge pain. Drove it all the way to the border, and then they found one number was wrong in the serial number on the Title certificate. Only thing I could do was drive it back so he could get it inspected and the serial number corrected.

I finally got the call last night that the title has been corrected. That is the first hurdle cleared. Now I have to figure out how to get it across the border. It is closed to us right now until June 21st. Going to look into trying to get someone to trailer it up for me. Wish me luck.

Good luck, I hope you finally have that beauty in your possession soon.

Well folks, the day has finally arrived. They are supposed to be picking up my Charger around noon today, and with any luck I will be picking it up from the depot tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the Canada Day holiday here, so it looks like I will have something to celebrate.:canada:

Yeh, finally going to get it home. We hope you post more pictures of your new acquisition.

Well, another delay meant that I didn't pick up the car yesterday, but the good news is that it is finally in Canada. That is a huge relief!

They said they were held up crossing the border on the way down, and now apparently truck problems.

Well after another delay due to problems with the truck that was delivering my car to the depot, I finally picked it up last night. It is now tucked safely in the garage. We had a couple of last minute problems with the battery and brakes, but solved them and the ride home was uneventful. Damn, that car is a pleasure to cruise in. Making me rethink some of the modifications I was planning.

I'm glad it finally made to it's new home. Keep us posted on any modifications you might be planning. Bill S.

I worked late last night tidying up a bunch of small stuff. Took it over for safety inspection this morning. I had to use my old plates to transport it and they are good til October. I may put historical vehicle plates on it then....or just keep the old ones to stir up some conversation.

Got it certified and registered in my name. Still have to redo the brakes, currently waiting on parts. Here it is before the ride home.
