Rear suspension recommendations.....

I have a 69' Dart that I'm installing a HemiDenny front end in, and I'd like to upgrade the rear suspension as well -but not a 4 link.

This is a daily driver car with a 340 / 4 spd. Currently has the original leafs on them with a set of generic airshocks that have a slow leak in the system - I don't care for airshocks, they are always the bandaid for ride height issues and handle like crap. I'd like to keep the leafs and shocks, but would like to replace with the best aftermarket parts I can find.

For the shocks I'm looking at QA1, Hotchkis, Lakewood, Viking, and Ridetech. Am I missing any of the major players, or if not then which of these mfg would anyone recommend?

Also looking to replace the leafs with a new set. I purchased a set from a company a long time ago and cannot remember their name, so I'm really starting from scratch on this one. I found a company called Stengle Bros but know nothing about them. Any recommendations here are appreciated.

I guess my last question I'm looking for input on, is whether I'm short changing the improvement of the hemidenny front end by keeping the leaf/shock combo vs. a full rear system kit. I'd rather not spend the $$ and am interested in keeping the leaf/shock combo. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance....
