hello I'm Kenny and I just bought a 72 demon hcode car and its going to need a alot of work, i look forward to reading lots of posts and learning all the tricks that everyone has shared, my car has been around the block and back im the 14th documented owner and its spent some time as a racecar, it does have quite an interesting dash I was hoping some of the old school guys could help me identify weather it is homemade or something special heres a couple pics to get me started

Welcome. My daughter lives in Canada. Just north of Toronto in Newmarket. Where is Oshawa? We normally enter at Sarnia and then drive East. I think I have seen that town name.

Welcome, another Canadian! :canada:

You’ll find a lot of great info here from members to help give it some TLC. That car looks like it’s been driven very hard and put away very wet, multiple times.

Welcome. Looks like a flip front. What's your plans for it?

Welcome:canada: That is definitely a home made dash face, the frame is likely the original one. That car looks like it has a whole lot of stories to tell, nice find in an original H code car at least. If it's lived most of it's life in the east, it's gonna have rust issues, but pretty much anything can be fixed/saved. Dive in, lots of really great knowledgeable people here to help answer questions and point you in the right direction if needed. Any power train in it currently?

Welcome, congratulations on the project, lots of info and help here.

Regarding the dash, nothing really special, stock dash frame, likely hacked up some with a homemade plate superimposed for the current gauges, with original glovebox door and stock dash pad.

Welcome to the site, I hope you start a build up on the ''Member's Restorations'' section on here.

The glovebox door is fully chrome inside and out

The car has a 69 440 in it currently and im planning to run it, its just missing a few pcs, I have a kitchen renovation to finish before I can get started on the car

Good luck with the reno, hopefully it won't put you too far behind to get started on your Demon.

Welcome aboard, I'm from Oshawa too, fixing up a yellow 68' valiant myself.
Hope to see your car around the streets some day.

My buddy who towed it home for me sent a pic to one of his pals and the guy recognized the car because the flip front end and he somehow had pics of it and forwarded them to me

Few more glory day pics, Im considering making it look exactly the same except all black, because the car was originally black
