Dang man. That was a little harsh. lol

Did u pay w/ paypal ??

I did, but it's been some time ago now.
The reason it came up again the other day was because I went to install it and got the chips out to find they didn't fit the sockets anyway.
I would have been pissed if I had cut into my 8 pin HEI wiring to find out the chips didn't fit after it was all installed.

Not more than they deserve I assure you.
Every step of this limiter was a fiasco that didn't work out, from purchase to their support to the attempted use.
It probably wouldn't have worked anyway and let my motor over rev, as that would have been par.

Hopefully, you sent them that video. I would.

2 rheostats and some wire/pins...

You can turn a two step into a 20 step if you like with enough rheostats and toggles.

bahahaha!!
good one Greg,
but yeah , you shoulda whipped it out for real, let er rip , blurred out your privates, then take a hammer to it. lol

Now that wouldda been epic.

Stick with MSD. REMEMBER never be afraid to buy the best, you’ll never be disappointed. I have the dial type in my Barracuda and it works perfect.
LMAO! As if MSD is any better. Many of you might (should) remember my wonderful track record with the constant MSD failures. Well, m son in law jumped on the newest version of the 6AL digital box (PN6425) because “It’s the best there is Dad!”
After less than 2 weeks run time, it’s dead as a door nail.
*I Think* this make number 13. Guess which one still works?

Well there you go another fine product brought to you by the Peoples Republic of communist China

Pop quiz, What ignition is made in the USA?

I just had a black digital 6 on my machine a couple of months ago. Damn thing just quit. I thought my distributor machine took a massive crap on me because the box was brand new...a virgin.

Nope. It was the box. MSD did repair it and it worked when I put it back up on the bench. I think they changed one resistor or maybe 5. I couldn’t tell from the repair order. But it was at least one and IIRC they went from a 20 amp (or whatever they measure resistance by) to 100. So it was a big jump.

IF I had actually bought this POS, I’d return it for fixing. I’m just going to throw this in the dumpster.
I returned so many to them for fixing. 1 box, 4 times.
I have one and only one box that works and it works like a charm. Every other unit, garbage! There is less than 50 hours run time on the above pictured box.

This is exactly why I can't bring myself to use aftermarket ignition components.
The ignition I have has run for 6 years now without so much as a single hiccup, and I can get replacement parts if ever needed at any parts house even on a weekend without having to order anything.
I'd be pretty pissed if I was out in the middle of a desert somewhere far from home and be told a part would be there next Tuesday.
Screw that, as it's just not worth the risk.

@TrailBeast I got stranded once from the MSD. When I re installed the MP box to get home all was fine as expected. The MSD box came back, I re installed it but left the Chrome box in. Only because it was hot and I was lazy. But it paid! From there on out, the known working Chrome box stayed in while I went through several MSD boxes until I gave up on them. It’s crazy, I know. Running around with 2 ignition boxes. So I Deleted the troublesome unit. Goodbye MSD!

Yup, all the stuff I see and hear about products that used to be reliable and now is just ridiculous amounts of fails.
I'm running a GM 8 pin module with the matching E core coil and the OEM weather pac connectors so it's been perfect.
ONE time I had a spark blowout on full acceleration and when I backed out of it there was a BOOM! like high powered rifle when the spark got there again.:D
I found I hadn't gotten the coil wire back in the cap tight and it wiggled loose far enough to allow compression to force the spark somewhere else other than the plugs.
The guy I was passing when it happened must have crapped his pants, because I was right next to him when I backed out of the throttle and lit all that un burned fuel in the pipes.

That's when I was building HEI kits and testing them on my car before they shipped.
Didn't get the coil wire and it's cap back on solid and it vibrated out of the distributor cap.
