Yeah you keep thinkin that. LOL Trust me when I say had I found it, my luck would be I would have to pay the higher bonus rate that's over 40%. lol
 
And 4 died looking for it..... While several spent their life savings to no avail... and some only quit their job.
 
My old army buddy used to always wanna go look for this treasure. I’d like to see a pic of it actually discovered.
 
Well, since the guy who planted it created the “gift”, he owes the taxes, not the recipient. This one is only slightly vague since the recipient was not specifically chosen. However, based on the IRS law regarding “gifts” the finder shouldn’t owe any Federal taxes on it since it was intentionally planted to be found and meets the definition of a “gift”.
 
Why would you tell ANYONE about what you found? Stupid!! I’d be taking some “treasure” to pawn shops and take what I could get.

Had I known about it, I might have taken my wife's RC down there and just lived out of it while we searched for our "2 million dollar" treasure :D
