Installing a dual circuit master cylinder on my 65 Barracuda with manual 10” drums f&r. I have the additional distribution block, but the ports on the master cyl are larger and one larger than the other. Its a new or reman mc w the bolt on cap, rear reservoir is slightly larger than the front. I no longer have the box w the part. # on it, sadly.
-Can anyone tell me the size of mc fittings?
-Is it ok to use an adapter fitting at the mc?

I do not know the size right now of the nuts. regular nut thread is 7/16" the next one up is 3/8"
You can get the correct nuts that have a 3/16" brake line

You can order avariety pack of 3/16" line fitting. I know I did and got the correct ones from it. Just can't remember where. Summit or Ebay I think.

Bear in mind not all masters use "standard" line fittings. Some are not only odd size but odd thread. This of course is to prevent the lines being reversed.

if it were me, id take the MC in to a reputable parts store and ask them to see if you can match up their "universal brake lines" to the MC

they have them in all sorts of pitch and size

The front master cylinder (rear brakes) port should be 9/16-18 threaded and the rear port (front brakes) should be 1/2-20 threaded.

Obviously you need to test that out before you go jamming stuff in there, but the tube nuts are available in 3/16" line size with the correct thread.

edit: Yes. You can use an adapter on brake fittings if you need to.

Mopar spec master cylinders use 1/2"-20 and 9/16"-20 (not 9/16"-18) fittings for 3/16" tubing.
