Figured I'd share our little project. Since all the craziness in the world started I needed something to keep me busy. We picked the car up last fall. Over the winter I replaced the driver side floor. I was going to stop there and get ready for race season but since the tracks have been closed I decided to move on. We replaced the rear leaf springs and shocks. One of the guys I race with gave us a 360. I changed out the heads and intake. Found a 904 and installed that. Just a couple weeks ago we got it fired up but there is still lots to do. My goal right now is to have it drive out of the garage. We plan to use the car as a cruiser and in a few years she wants to race Jr. Street. I've been reading alot on this page. Its been a big help.

Get-er-done! that will be something the both of you will cherish in the coming years. I'm chugging along on my 65 Barracuda restoration, sub frame connectors made and ready to install.

Good stuff man. The days and nights spent working on and test driving the "Daddy Daughter" Duster with my twin daughters when they were 10-11 yo are some of my most cherished memories. They're 19 yo young ladies in college now...man how the years have flown by.

Be well and enjoy every second with that little angel!

Good deal! Both you and your daughter will gain much more than experience working on a car. The quality time spent together will stay with both of you for the rest of your lives. 65'

Looks like a great project. Awesome when the kids want to join and share that experience. What heads and intake did you put on?

I had an Air Gap intake on the shelf and the heads are rebuilt stock 360. The heads had a mess of broken exhaust manifold bolts.

I love this! As a woman who's into cars I only wish my dad had been around to show me the ropes. I have all sorts of online dads (you guys) though so I am good now!
Thanks for sharing!

That is awesome, remember take time to take pictures you will look back and be glad you did...
