Product Review: 67 to 74 A/B/E-Body End Link Set

My 53 year old front sway bar end link bushings were shot. You could see daylight between the bushings and the mounts.

My car: 67 Dodge Dart GT Convertible
273, 2bbl, 904 automatic.

I looked around and ended up buying the kit from Classic Ind. (CI)

=============================
Update... I found the manufacturer of the kit MD7110 (5188) that CI sells, Hoffman's Winners Circle

www.hoffmanswinnerscircle.com

They confirmed that the kit with only the bushings and the nuts and washers (3879) are the same parts as in the 5188 kit. Their prices are about the same as CL
=============================

Part number MD7110, a bit pricy but it will be the last time I buy them in my life.

From the packaging it looks like CI is reselling someone else's kit

The shiny link on the top is OEM (wire wheeled)
The CI link looks identical to OEM (note the curve in the OEM link, I don't think it is factory, I think it developed over the years)

Link washers, (shiny is OEM) look very close to OEM, there is a little more flat around the outer diameter. OEM might be a bit thinner, but I did not measure.

Rubber bushings, (OEM on left) look reasonable, the ID and OD looked good, thickness, a little hard to tell.

The nuts look like OEM as well, there are markings on the CI nuts and the OEM nuts are a bit more curvy for lack of a better term.

All in all I'm pleased with the links, again a bit pricy but nice to have a tightened up front end. As usual the CI shipping was excessive.

Side note: CI sells a kit of just the bushings and washers, I considered buying it but I didn't want to have to return it should it not fit. I figured the kit with the link would fit with the OEM link and washers, and if not certainly would fit with the link they provided.
