Have you looked over the diagram. Even Dart/ Valiant will be similar. You need an orange dimmer controlled dash lighting wire for the shift quadrant/ tach/ etc

You could run a new wire right from the fuse panel for the lighter

If you have courtesy lights you need to tie into the yellow dome wiring........this is the switched ground side.........and a power wire. For that you could T off from the lighter to one side of the courtesy lamps

The connector you have there is the turn signal switch and will do you little good

Yes I have a courtesy light that is under dash passenger side as well as courtesy lights in rear pillars no dome light though.

So the orange wires in the first picture are dimmer controlled so I will simply run a new wire soldered at the same point as the factory soldered connection.

The broken connector from the turn signal switch is for the brake/stop switch the little tab on the end broke off. I will most likely just wire it with a spade connector I'm guessing.

Curious on this type of factory wiring connection (orange wires), they look like the wires themselves are melted together without any solder?
(EDIT) Although I did add a little solder myself as the wires were frayed a bit, I was about to seal it up when I thought about the console shift light.
