where should I tie into harness for column to console conversion and other wiring

In my 67, I tapped console lighter well into wire at dash lighter well. Shift indicator lamp tapped into radio lamp wire. Your 68 may have a ashtray lamp that uses same orange wire. My console has ground wire attached at radio support to dash.
