If you're going to put that in a 67 Barracuda and want to use the original style radiator for 67 - 69, then you need to change the timing chain cover over to the 64 - 69 style and use a cast iron water pump... Then you will be able to use the stock molded hoses, alternator bracket, and power steering brackets...
67 - 69 had timing marks on the passenger side and a cast iron water pump...
70 and later moved the timing marks to the drivers side and had the aluminum water pump...

Thank you so much! this is the info i want to hear! I did not realize that and you are correct as this is a 71 cast block, will a 64-69 cast iron fit on a 71 block?
Yes, But as krazykuda said, you need to get a 64-69 273, 318, or 340 aluminum timing chain cover and timing tab.
Yes, the parts are interchangeable, you just have to get the right match so the timing marks are not blocked by the lower radiator hose...

I don't have any spare early parts... I'm sure if you post a wanted ad someone will be able to get you a timing chain cover.... The 64 - 68 timing chain covers had the timing marks on a tab that bolted to the bottom two bolts of the water pump, the 69 timing chain cover had the timing marks cast into the cover...
Cast water pumps are available at any number of on line parts houses, Jegs, Summit, Rock Auto, Mancinni Racing etc. Get the 8 blade pump.
Do you have the radiator,??. You have to have one that works with the cast iron pump lower hose. The 67 Rad will work.

As for the intake and carb, that depends a lot on what you want to do with your car. What cam is in your long block? What exhaust will you run? What gear ratio are in the rear? I assume 318 heads?
