Help on u joint id and brand reccomendations

Hey everyone. Was doing my routine check this morning and discovered that my rear u joint has some play it when i turn the driveshaft back and forth. Im not comfortable with it so ill be replacing it along with the front u joint and tailshaft seal. My question is the rear axle came out of i believe a 68 gts not sure on the different pinion yokes But i had to have a driveshaft made when the car was built. it appears the cap diameter is 1-1/8” diameter and the width is about 3-5/8” across from cap to cap. Any idea on what size u joints these are? I usually stick with spicer but Any other brand recommendations? i guess i cant complain, had its fair share of 4k clutch dumps and chirping 2nd gear lol

thats what im thinking. Measures 2-5/8 from internal clip to clip Which is what the 7290 is listed as the width. Need to bring a dial caliper home from work to double check as i just used a tape measure. Can anyone else confirm?

7260 to 7290 Conversion U-Joint what I went by. Shows both common sizes and outside dimensions.

thank you, that appears what it is. Mine is the same on all 4 sides. Has anyone had any experience with the lakewood chromoly u joints?

Whats up with this? Both u joints are the same dimensions

both have a different appearance. Also the needle bearings in the left u joint are larger than the needle bearings in the right u joint
