Hello guys.

I am in doubt witch brand/configuration/type going to use in my build, saw bunch of brands and types on market, I want to take advantage of what I am doing and try to get as much HP as I can, so need your help to clarify my mind

I am ready to put my fresh build together with following parts:

Small block 318 .30 over zero deck
Stock Crank and rods (checked/refreshed all in spects)
Wiseco forget flat top pistons about 10.0 x1 CC
Edelbrock RPM or Air gap intake (about to decide which one to go)
Comp Cam XE262H kit Hydraulic Flat tapped 218in/224ex .50 110 LS
Edelbrock Performance RPM 60779 Cylinder heads 63 CC
Holley carb (will decide CFM on dyno)

Need advice to decide the best choice adjustable rocker arm set up.

thanks

HD Stamped Stockers, Harland Sharp, Crane, Hughes, or 273 Adjustable.

You think 273s could be fine? I know they are bullet proof.

I dont know much about Proform, PRW or Speedmaster.... are they good? are not? saw Proform have one kit for $399 with Mopar logo so I think if they are allowed to use they should be good, right?

The mopar logo means nothing, they’ll let anyone use it for a fee. And that assumes that Proform isn’t just violating the copyright, which is also possible.

The stock adjustable iron rockers aren’t perfect and usually benefit from a rebuild. Especially on a street engine with a hydraulic cam they can benefit from being bushed with bronze bushings. Swapping out the adjusters for something with a nut to lock them down is also beneficial. Crane also makes ductile iron rockers.

That’s not a super crazy cam though, and with hydraulic lifters you might do just fine with the HD stamped non-adjustable rockers as long as the valve springs are spec’d correctly and the push rods are the right length (which has to be checked for all of them).

If you are going to spend money on rockers, contact mike at b3racingengines.com and let him hook you up.

PRW is the best choice for price and reliability. I believe the Speedmaster come from the same factory, but on the second floor. lol
That would be the stainless rocker arms of course

Comp cams pro magnum roller rocker arms been running them on 2 different sets of Edelbrock heads for over 7 years now I've never had and issue:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Harland Sharp, imo are the best units. They have a part number designed specifically for those heads.
There are certainly cheaper options, but the HS stuff is really nice.

what yr said
with that mild cheve cam profile just use stock rockers
2ed choice is iron rockers
roller tip you need a b3 kit so $$$ jumps
rethink that cam

Edelbrock recommendation is to use adjustable ones, I think Non-adjustable might not be all same 1.5
My budget is 400/500 for good set up so I’m ok to spend that money, all went deep with Eddys Heads so don’t wanna go cheap on the finals

You can run the best rockers made and if the geometer isn't right, you'll never get their full potential. DO like YR said and contact Mike at B3.

$850+ and they also have the lifted shaft shims for corrected geometry.

Corrected geometry for "whose heads"? And "how" do "they" know which way to correct?
