What's your story with your Mopar?

I've got 2. A 73 Challenger and a 68 Dart. My dad bought the Challenger brand new and it has always been in the family. After long Iowa winters it was pretty rusty and taken off the road in the mid 80's and stored inside. I took the car apart in the mid 90's and it sat disassembled until 2012 when I finally got it back together. I sent the body off for rust and paint work since I'm not a body man. I did most of the component restoration and most of the assembly.

I bought my 68 Dart in the fall of 2013. My 4 1/2 year old son had just died from cancer and I needed something to keep my hands and mind busy. I documented everything and took it apart. I sent the body off to be blasted and the small amount of rust fixed. I've been working on all the components while I try to save up for the rest of the body work and paint. I've got most of the sub assemblies completed except for the convertible top mechanism. Hopefully soon, I can get the car back into the shop for paint.
