My father bought this ‘67 Dart in 2008 from eBay, he messed with it for a year or so, drove it occasionally but I guess he lost interest in it and it sat for years in the garage. It was killing me to see the car sit (especially because I’m in the restoration business) so I offered to buy it. We struck a deal in September 2019. I have been fixing things up on it. Just repairing all the hacked up wiring, fixed the clapped out old Hurst shifter, rebuilt the z-bar and linkages, redid the brakes, rebuilt the instrument cluster, relocated the battery to the trunk, along with many other things. The car is back on the road and hauling ***!

About the car:
1967 Dart 2 door post with a 1968 grill, 6-pack scoop. Painted GM servicemaster yellow
Late 1972 340 LA small block, big cam, ported J heads, Hedman headers, Edelbrock 750.
A-833 OD 4 speed with Hays Street strip clutch
8-3/4” sure-grip with 3.55 gears.
Mickey Thompson’s front and rear.

The plans are to build it up to be a fun street legal car that will also tear up the strip. I have a 440 block and forged crank waiting to be built. Aiming for 500-550 all motor and hitting it with 150-200 of nitrous from an NOS cheater, NOS launcher, MSD power Grid, MSD 6AL, MSD digital 2 step and a Hurst roll control. I have a Dana 60 that I’m almost finished with with Strange internals and 4.30 gears. Looking to get a Passon Hemi OD A-833 in the future. The exterior of the car will end up being nostalgic to the 70’s as a Super Stock. Cragars and Good Years. Glass hood and front fenders, and getting repainted B5 blue!

Hopefully I’ll be able to pick some brains here for whatever weird questions I may come up with or share some of my own knowledge. So far I have made it this far without NEEDING a forum, but one never knows!
